The Gracie

I created this drink in honor of my friend Grace. She came to live with me for several glorious months during which we cooked meals together, played games, and finished off an undisclosed number of bottles of gin and Lillet Blanc. This is a great summer drink and also perfect for Easter or Mother’s Day (just float a few edible flowers on top).

ingredients

  • 2 oz gin (here I use Kur Gin, Big Gin, Oola, or Roku work well)

  • 2 oz Lillet Blanc

  • 3 oz homemade sour mix (a combination of grapefruit, limes, lemons, recipe)

  • 5 oz tonic (preferably Fever Tree Naturally Light or Q Light Tonic)

directions

  • Place gin, Lillet, and sour mix in a cocktail shaker with ice and shake for 25 seconds.

  • Pour into two cocktail glasses and top with tonic water.

  • Garnish with Luxardo cherry & a twist of citrus peel.

yield

Two drinks.
